Molly Cliff Bersani
Molly grew up in New York City and attended Harvard College (AB, magna cum laude),
University College London (MA, Classical Archaeology), and Harvard Law School (JD, cum laude).
Molly practiced law at Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York and then worked at GE as Asia Pacific
counsel for one of the company's business units, before starting her career in executive search
more than 12 years ago. After working at a specialist US recruitment firm,
Molly co-founded Asia Search Partners in 2007. Molly focuses on partner and counsel level search for
international law firms as well as senior legal and compliance roles within financial institutions.
Molly has a large network of contacts within the investment banking, investment fund and legal community
in the US and Asia.
Melissa has focused on legal recruitment for more than 17 years. She has worked for UK and US based specialist
legal search firms, before co-founding Asia Search Partners in 2007. She works with US and UK based law firms and
financial institutions including investment banks, private equity funds, venture capital funds, hedge funds,
asset management and insurance companies. She has successfully placed partners, teams, counsel, associates as well as
in-house counsel across Asia including Hong Kong, China, India, Korea and Singapore as well as in the US. She earned her
Bachelor of Commerce degree with First Class Honours at the University of Bombay. She has a Diploma in Marketing
Management from the Indian Marketing Association (IMA) and was involved in IMA's activities within Mumbai.
Erle is an UK qualified accountant and has held senior level finance positions at
PricewaterhouseCoopers, Allen & Overy and Simmons & Simmons. Erle turned to legal sector
recruitment in 2011 and has rapidly built up a strong associate and partner practice. In
addition, he is actively involved in our in-house practice recruiting and has worked for
clients such as Credit Suisse, Goldman Sachs, Baring Private Equity.
Karen Nicholson grew up in the Forest of Dean in the UK and studied law at the
London School of Economics. After graduating in 1988 (LL.B. Hons), Karen practiced as an
environmental lawyer in London, Milan and Sydney. In 1999 she became head of business development at Corrs Chambers Westgarth in Sydney. Relocating to Hong Kong, Karen then
specialised in partner search for US and UK law firms at a leading American legal search firm. Karen is a frequent public speaker on the subjects of
